I'm sitting here wondering why the box I'm typing in is at the very faaaarrrrr left of the page, so much so that it's almost uncomfortable to read. How come I've never noticed this before? Why don't they put it in the middle?
Do you ever have an idea of what the "future you" is like. Maybe not even a realistic idea but more of what the perfect "future you" would be? Here is what mine is... I would love to hear yours.
In a perfect future I am in my thirties (a long way off, I know that!). Matt and I have kids, probably more than the average family (maybe four?). We have a house with a huge yard that gets cold and wet in the evenings, like my parents' did growing up. We are always sitting on a front porch, the sun setting, our kids winding down. I am more calm, more put together and sure of who I am. The weekdays are spent as a busy photographer, shuffling in maternity and newborn clients into my at-home studio and romping around fields and cities for edgy family and senior sessions. The weekends are spent riding quads, family trips to the farmers market and eating ice cream on the beach (should I be living on the east coast?).
Well now you have a picture of the future me I picture in my head. What is yours?
