New stuff!!

I am so excited, overwhelmed, anxious and nervous about moving into our new house.

I am excited to finally design and decorate the way we want to! Since we moved into our current house two years ago we have not purchased any new furniture (except a TV stand), painted or re-decorated in any way. So we are going all out in our new house. We're putting down wood flooring that we're in love with and designing each room to have a distinct style from the furniture to the paint color.

I recently found this image of a bedroom that I'm in love with, and it is the sole inspiration for how I am designing our bedroom.



Designing is also the overwhelming part of this process as well. There are ten billion paint colors and styles out there, it's hard to pick one and be sure it's the right one.

We're not even starting to re-model until mid-September and probably wont move in until late October... so you'll be hearing a lot from me about house plans over the summer.
